En las vacaciones de verano en el Centro Country Club de Sharpay y Ryan Evans, Troy consigue un empleo de medio tiempo, pero no solo para el, Gabriella, Kelsi, Chad, Zeke, Jason y Taylor comienzan a trabajar. Sharpay iba a aprovechar para alejar a Troy de Gabriella. Como Troy era salvavidas, Gabriella le cuido el puesto por un dia, y ese dia Sharpay finje ahogarse para que Troy la salve. Ryan hace su parte, empuja a Sharpay pero cuando ve que Gabriella es quien trata de salvarla desesperadamente le grita. Luego de esto Sharpay esta decidida a alejar a los dos para no ser humillada en el oncurso de talentos del Country Club. Antes de todo esto Ryan demuestra que es un gran jugador de Baseball derrotando a Chad con demasiada rapidez.

Harry regresa a Hogwarts y descubre, para su terror, que nadie del mundo mágico le cree a él ni a los profesores del colegio que el temible mago Lord Voldemort ha vuelto, y prefieren negar todo lo que ellos dicen.
